An eighteen day trip to Greece starts with overnights flight to Athens an immediate score with A-302 on train 500 out of Pireaus, sadly only as far as Agios Ioannis! It was then a solid day of A-451 action with the usual lunch stop at Lianokladi and then back to Athens for hotel. North next day with mostly A-451 action and the A-504 drops on 602 at Thessaloniki so off to Alexandroupoulis and runs with A-327 & A-453 and then A-504 back to Thessaloniki. A-508 to Serres next morning for A-302 and then A-452 & A-327 back to Thessaloniki and 602 to Drama for A-501 back to Thessaloniki. A-556 south to Lianokladi for A-466 to Leptokaria for a hotel. North on 604 for a good day of Alco power and then 605 to Athens for a day of action on the southern end of main line, north on train 504 and a run to Kozani with A-201 and then hotel at Leptokaria again. Usual move with 604 to Thessaloniki and after a bad start A-308 works 614 towards Alexandroupoulis, we can't resist A-507 back to Thessaloniki from Skotoussa and then A-501 back out to Alexandroupoulis and well pleased to see A-308 take over for the run to Dikea! Real bonus was A-308 then back all the way to Thessaloniki on 605 and then A-507 takes over so all the way to Athens! After a few moves in Athens area back north with A-308 on 602 and continue to Drama for train 617 to Strimon. We taxi to the border for a quick visit to Bulgaria for a few 07 moves and then back to Thessaloniki and to Leptokaria again. North to Thessaloniki and then back to Athens and then back north again and another run with A-308, south on train505 and then A-9107 on narrow gauge to Korinthos and then to Argos for the branch to Nafplion. Alco power back to Athens from Korinthos and a night in Athens. MLW to Larissa and then rest of day on Craiova power including the overnight south. A-9107 to Diakopto and then caught with A-9204 on return so I took chance to do Loutraki branch and take DMU back to Athens. One final trip on main line and then time to head to airport and flight home
