Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A six day trip to Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and Hungary. We flew to Ljubljana and took the early train to Rijeka next morning as diesel power was still working from Šapjane - Rijeka. We returned after a few hours and then continued with EC150 all the way north to Wien where we stayed the next two nights. I made a quick trip to Znojmo in Czech Republic as there were two trains booked for 1144 power. A (very) quick run from Wien Westbf to St Pölten later (reaching 232 km/h) on a Railjet. Next day we took EN467 to Győr and then went to Szombathely hoping for the GySEV 232 diagram but no luck. We then went to Budapest and next day to Tatabánya to do the branch to Oroszlány but found an EMU vice V43. It was then south along Lake Balaton in a snow storm and then via Nagykanizsa and Gyékényes to Zagreb for two nights. I made a visit to Gredelj to see on-going construction of new GT26 locos for Morocco and then a couple of trips from Zagreb on 2044 diesels. Flew back home the next day
