Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A six day trip to Poland started with a Ryanair flight to Gdańsk and then the slow bus ride into town, thankfully train soon goes to airport! After one night in Gdańsk I moved to Warszawa for the rest of the trip. After a morning in Warszawa I took the Vectron diagram to Poznań and then returned with the ČD 163 diagram on one of the PR diagrams. Next day I went to Katowice in the morning as engineering work meant the train did two freight curves and almost all the Łowicz Główny - Skierniewice line which is generally EMU only, I returned north via the CMK but a very disappointing slow journey was had. On the Sunday I got the second Vectron diagram on my way to Kutno and then did the Sundays only to Płock with a KM Traxx on double deckers which was an excellent way to do this remote line. The Monday was checking out most of the KM double deck turns in the Warszawa area and then the flight back home from Modlin the following day
