Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A five day trip to the Czech Republic started off with a flight to Pardubice as a recently available airport with flights from England. I did some moves around Česká Třebová and then made my way to Brno and on to Tišnov where I was staying for five nights. Next day I went Brno - Jihlava - Havlíčkův Brod and then back to Brno in a circle before returning to Tišnov. The Saturday saw the usual extra trains running to Mošnov, Ostrava Airport, I took the 362 from Brno all the way to the airport and in the evening a short run with the ÖBB 1216 on the Praha train and then back to Tišnov. On the Sunday I did the weekend 754 turn which does the otherwise DMU only route from Tišnov - Žďár nad Sázavou (line 251) and the on to Praha and back via Nymburk and Pardubice to Brno and Tišnov. After an early trip to Bílovice nad Svitavou for the 210 turn I went to Nymburk and Kolín and then back to Brno and Tišnov. The last day was on a more local area ticket so thd the DMU branches from Šakvice - Hustopeče u Brna and from Zaječí - Hodonín. A run out to Vyškov na Moravě got me a new 362 before taking to bus to the airport and the flight back home
