Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

I started a ten day trip with a set of propellers from Gatwick to Luxembourg for a few moves and then made my way via Trier and Koblenz to Köln for D1549 to Magdeburg. I covered the Halle 232 turns and then went to Dresden and did D450 to Darmstadt for my overnight and then to Mainz for a new 218 turn taking a member of the class to Wissembourg in France, an excellent new working to cover. Then to Karlsruhe and a 218 up the excellent climb to Freudenstadt and forward as new 218 track to Hausach. Made my way to Frankfurt/M for a new IC overnight to Düsseldorf Flughafen with premier 103 power! Once back in Frankfurt/M it was ÖBB 1044 power to Nürnberg and then back onto the Kolomna turns finding massive 232.572 on IR2665 to Dresden, probably the most “surging” 232 I ever had, sounded fantastic! Overnight was D1548 to Hannover and balancing train D1549 to Magdeburg and then to Berlin and Pasewalk and then Bad Kleinen, Lübeck and Hamburg for D1598 to Bruchsal and the Stuttgart and then Nürnberg and more Kolomna chasing and then to München. D1561 to Chemnitz and then to Dresden and Görlitz and then D1548 to Hannover and back to Köthen and more Halle (Saale) 232 chasing getting a couple of new ones before heading to Hof for the 232 turn on Friday D1667 which appeared with “Touristik” livery 218.416 - getting itself to Leipzig Hbf for an exhibition next day! D1548 again and on time into Düsseldorf, I return north straight away with the “Urlaubsexpress” to Wolgast and Bergen auf Rügen with 103.220 and then to Berlin via Pasewalk again. The overnight was to Hannover and back to Magdeburg and some new Kolomna track with extras running to Zeitz and then diesels to Nürnberg and D482 north to Denmark. EA from Padborg to Odense for the new curve south of Fredericia for an IC3 to Århus for the booked ME+MZ combination on IR1336. After this made my way to København and flight home
