Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

My first visit to trip to Tunisia since 2002 and I went for eleven days and as usual used the excellent "Carte Blue" ticket to travel around the country. We flew to Tunis and after a quick spell on the DK action we soon got caught up in usual late running on standard gauge. We had couple of days in Tunis area and also picked up lots of km’s on 060-DI-72 which was going very well on Ghardimaou line. We then went to Sousse and covered the DK turns on the locals to Mahdia (vice EMU). The next day 060-DN-315 was out on Ghardimaou line so this was very much appreciated, lovely GE sound! Next day some more DK action and then another trip to Ghardimaou with 060-DI-72! Next day 060-DN-320 was on the first Ghardimaou, we took it to Tebourba, then back to Tunis and the long run all the way to Tozeur for one night. Back north to Gafsa next day for a full day taking photos of phosphate trains. Then back to Tunis a few more nights. Yet another trip to Ghardimaou with 060-DI-72 the next day! Last day was in Tunis area before flying back home
